A profusion of aromas on the nose include honeydew melon, grapefruit, gooseberry, freshly cut grass, peony flower, lime zest and papaya. Flavors on the entrance showcase notes of melon, grapefruit, guava, boxwood and stone. Acidity and flavors are balanced and complex, creating a wine that is both captivating and delicious.

Vineyard Notes

Croft Vineyard is one of the most distinguished sites for Sauvignon Blanc in Oregon. Located near Monmouth, the vineyard has been organically farmed by three generations of the Croft family spanning three decades. Croft features southeast-facing slopes at 400 feet in elevation on a bed of Bellpine soils.

Winemaker Notes

This wine was fermented in three vessels: 13% in our concrete “nub” (shorthand for the brand name NuBarrel), 37% in stainless steel and 50% in French oak. The wine was sur lie aged for seven months.
