Tasting Notes

The nose comes alive with aromas of key lime, orange blossom, white peach, wet stone and wildflower. Up front the wine is round and luscious with balanced acidity building on the mid-palate, bringing out complex and exotic flavors of lychee, kumquat and pear. Hints of key lime, peach skin, lemon tart and brioche enhance the experience. The finish is focused and elegant.

Vineyard Notes

Domaine Pinot Gris is the preeminent selection from King Estate Winery, made exclusively from certified organic and Biodynamic® grapes from our estate vineyard at the southern tip of the renowned Willamette Valley. Organic since 2002, the estate is the largest Biodynamic vineyard in North America. King Estate is credited with popularizing Pinot Gris nationally. The Domaine bottling represents the best of the best from our estate.

Winemaker Notes

Grapes are hand harvested and whole cluster pressed. The wine was cool fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks which were temperature controlled to maximize fruit character. Aged sur lie for six months.
