2018 King Estate Seven Rows Pinot Noir
-
Tasting Notes
-
Aromatics are of juicy strawberry, rose petals, damp slate, cherry and forest floor. Juicy, succulent fruit up front – ripe raspberry, strawberry and cherry pie – is balanced with satisfying acidity. Structured tannins and weight build throughout the mid-palate. Condensed tannins and bright acidity combine for a lingering, powerful finish of quenching fruit, spice and subtle floral notes.

Vineyard Notes
-
Sourced from Block 11A on our own estate, this wine is truly a family affair. This is the first wine made from start to finish by a third-generation family member, Justin King. The grandson and son of King Estate Winery co-founders Ed King, Jr., and Ed King III, Justin tended the vines and harvested the fruit from seven rows near the heart of the vineyard before teaming up with our winemakers to carefully craft this outstanding Pinot Noir. The distinctive red label was designed by Justin and his brother Taylor, using the vineyard tag as inspiration.
