2018 King Estate Domaine Pinot Noir
-
Tasting Notes
-
The wine opens with an array of intriguing aromas: spice rack, earth, dusty cherry, rose petal, bramble, mocha, graphite, hazelnut, raspberry, marmalade and sweet oak. Up front, bright acidity comingles with dusty tannins. Flavors of raspberry, cherry, rose water, tea, spice, cedar, pencil lead and milk chocolate create a mid palate that is round and full. Tannins lengthen out on the finish with bright acidity and mineral notes that will soften with age.

Vineyard Notes
-
Domaine Pinot Noir is the preeminent selection from King Estate Winery, made exclusively from organic and Biodynamic® grapes from our estate vineyard just outside Eugene at the southern tip of the Willamette Valley. Our cool climate is especially well suited for growing the delicate Pinot Noir grape which made Oregon famous. Light and elegant and made in classic Burgundian style, King Estate Domaine represents the best of the best of what Oregon has to offer.
