Tasting Notes
-
Aromas do not disappoint, suggesting black cherry, cranberry, ripe strawberry, maraschino cherry, earth, toast, slate, cedar, lavender and blood orange. Up front find bright fresh fruit flavors of cranberry and strawberry with toast, sweet oak, cola and baking spices. Grippy tannins and earthen notes of tea, leather, sweet oak and slate appear on the mid-palate. On the finish notes of blood orange, toast and spices provide added complexity, while lengthy structured tannins contribute to a lasting finish.
