Tasting Notes
-
Deep scarlet color in color, the nose is aromatic with strawberry pie, sage, toast, damp slate and tobacco. Round with fleshy tannins and bright acidity, discovery continues with flavors of strawberry, plum, pepper, anise, coffee and cocoa nibs. Structure and depth on the mid-palate lead to a rich and refined finish.

Vineyard Notes
-
This Oregon take on GSM comes from a world-renowned Walla Walla vineyard, Seven Hills, and Rogue Valley's Crater View Vineyard. Varietals include Grenache (40%), Syrah (40%) and Mourvèdre (20%). Wines made from these classic grape varietals found in France's Southern Rhone region, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvédre, are often referred to as a "GSM."
