2016 King Estate Kennel Pinot Noir
-
Tasting Notes
-
Deep garnet in the glass, this wine makes an elegant entrance, boasting flavors of summer – strawberry, rhubarb pie, violets and cherry. Other notes of cinnamon, mocha, cigar box, anise, tobacco leaf, clove and forest floor chime in on the palate. The tannins become increasingly refined as the oak structure and acidity provide a lingering finish. Enjoy now through 2027.

Vineyard Notes
-
Established in 2007, Kennel Vineyard is nestled in the Willamette Valley halfway between Corvallis and Monmouth, Oregon. Consisting of only 28 acres, Kennel is considered a warm site, but benefits from coastal breezes and cool nights, which balance acidity levels and allow for optimal flavor development. Fifth generation farmers, Jeremy Kennel and his family harvest these grapes with reverence to the land and its use for generations to come.
