Tasting Notes
-
The color is dark crimson. On the nose discover dried violets, plum, cracked pepper, spice, leather and dark chocolate. Flavors are an intriguing medley of blackberry, cassis, toast, dried tobacco, peppercorn and cedar. Grippy yet luscious tannins create a full-bodied mouthfeel that leads to a long finish.

Vineyard Notes
-
This southern Oregon take on GSM comes from two beautiful Rogue Valley vineyards, Crater View (61%) and Carpenter Hill (39%). Varietals include Grenache (42%), Syrah (38%) and Mourvèdre (20%). Wines made from these classic grape varietals found in France's Southern Rhone region, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvédre, are often referred to as a "GSM."
