2015 King Estate Bradshaw Pinot Noir
-
Tasting Notes
-
The wine is a gorgeous ruby red in the glass. Fruit notes of strawberry, pomegranate, cranberry and rhubarb greet the nose along with baking spices and violets. These flavors continue on the palate along with graham cracker, caramel and cola. Supple tannins up front give way to more lingering, lengthy tannins that balance with acidity and roundness on the finish.

Vineyard Notes
-
The Bradshaw family established their vineyard in 1989 with a steadfast pursuit of growing Pinot Noir of the highest quality possible. Their relationship with King Estate goes back to our early days and grows stronger each year. The vines for their foundation block were originally sourced from the King Estate nursery. Bradshaw Vineyards in Junction City, Oregon, not far from King Estate, comprises six clones planted on a variety of rootstock and sits on Bellpine soil at approximately 400 feet in elevation.
