Tasting Notes
-
This wine is clean and crisp with bursting aromas of flowers and fresh peach. The aromatics are a heady bouquet of jasmine, pineapple, honeydew, orange blossom, McIntosh apple, damp slate, honey and peach. The mid-palate reveals balanced acidity and roundness with fruit and tropical flavors of peach, honeydew, McIntosh apple, key lime, pineapple, lychee, lemon zest, pear and orange peel with a hint of wet stone. The finish is quenching and focused. This wine is clean and crisp with bursting aromas of flowers and fresh peach. Vineyard Notes
-
In the Grand Cru vineyards of Alsace, the French government requires that wines be made from the “noble grapes”: Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat and Gewürztraminer. These varietals, known for making aromatic, crisp and dry white wines, are planted on our estate vineyard. King Estate's cool climate creates perfect growing conditions for these four noble grapes and pays tribute to the beautiful wines of Alsace.
