2018 King Estate Foris Pinot Blanc
-
Tasting Notes
-
Foris Pinot Blanc starts out soft and luscious, with aromas of white peach, vanilla, nutmeg, sage, fresh wildflower and butterscotch. Balanced acidity and oak bring body and spice to the mid-palate, where baked apple, brioche and lemon oil can be detected. The finish shows increasing volume and roundness.

Vineyard Notes
-
From the Illinois Valley sub-AVA in Cave Junction, Oregon, a pioneer in the Oregon wine industry, Foris is the southernmost vineyard in the state. The high elevation of this vineyard and its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean provide ideal growing conditions for Alsace style varietals.
