This fall King Estate will release our 2017 Four Nobles Cuvée Blanc, a blend of Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Muscat made with all estate-grown, Biodynamic® fruit. The “four noble” grapes of Alsace are heralded for their quality and strict viticulture standards as well as their wide range of styles, creating what one reviewer writing in Forbes calls “some of the world’s most intriguing, diverse and transparent wines.”
King Estate’s take on the Four Nobles – the first time we’ve made this blend – earned 91 points from Wine Enthusiast, which described it as “ripe, full and fleshy” with notes of stone fruit, citrus and melon. Winemaker Brent Stone explains that the wine’s dry, crisp acidity is cut with just enough roundness from six months of sur-lee aging to create a wine that’s balanced, offering a long and satisfying finish – true to its Alsatian roots.
