Tasting Notes
-
A dark scarlet color in the glass, this GSM first impresses with a rich nose of blackberry, graphite, cassis, violets, black pepper, roasted coffee, spice and plum Velvety tannins up front accompany flavors of blackberry, cassis, pepper, violet acai berry, cocoa nibs, coffee, cedar and graphite. Structured and grippy tannins build on the mid-palate, with balanced acidity providing depth on a finish that is coating and lasting.

Vineyard Notes
-
Wines made from the classic grape varietals found in France's southern Rhône region – Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre – are often referred to as GSM. Typically made from warm growing regions, this varietal combination delivers wines with jammy, dark fruit character and elegant complexity. Our GSM comes from two Oregon vineyards: Crater View in the Rogue Valley; and Seven Hills Winery, a founding estate of the Walla Walla AVA in Oregon’s northeast corner.
