Tasting Notes
-
Stone fruit notes of peach and apricot are joined by lime, white rose and brioche. Aging in the concrete egg tank imparts a full mouthfeel and enhanced minerality. A round, soft entrance is balanced with acidity to create a long, full finish. Enjoy now and until at least 2027.

Vineyard Notes
-
Steiner Block is a tribute to Rudolf Steiner, the founder of the Biodynamic® approach to agriculture. Sourced from a very small lot on our estate vineyard, this Pinot Gris is certified Biodynamic for both the agricultural and winemaking process.

Winemaker Notes
-
Fermented 100% in concrete "egg" vessel, then aged in the concrete egg for six months sur lie with weekly bâtonnage. Our winemakers aged this wine in our concrete "egg" tank for added complexity, texture and enhanced minerality.
