Bright ruby in the glass, the wine features notes of Bing cherry, strawberry, sage, cedar, tea leaf, graham cracker and earth on the nose. Bright acidity and firm tannins provide focus on the entrance with flavors of Bing cherry, strawberry, rose water, tea, earth and sweet oak. Mid-palate is full-bodied with oak tannins adding another layer of complexity on the finish.

Winemaker Notes
-
Whole clusters are destemmed then subjected to a 48-hour cold soak with daily pump overs. Whole clusters are left intact in select lots for additional complexity. For further concentration of flavor and color, 10% of juice is bled off the red wine during fermentation using the Saignée method. Fermentation is in stainless steel open top tanks with daily punch downs. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
