Tasting Notes
-
The Bradshaw family’s vineyard, established in 1993 in Junction City, Ore., was initially planted exclusively with Pinot Noir. King Estate is fortunate to be a vineyard partner of this outstanding grower. Aromatics of rhubarb, cranberry, tea, rose petal, bing cherry, earth and toast come through on the nose. Red fruit flavors pop on the entrance, followed by moderate tannins with bright acidity on the mid-palate. Extended barrel aging helped round out the acidity, integrating it into a lingering finish.

Vineyard Notes
-
The Bradshaw family established their vineyard in 1989 with a steadfast pursuit of growing Pinot Noir grapes of the highest quality possible. Their relationship with King Estate goes back to our early days and grows stronger each year. The vines for their foundation block were originally sourced from the King Estate nursery. Bradshaw Vineyard is composed of six clones planted on a variety of rootstock and sits on Bellpine soil at approximately 400 feet in elevation.
