2016 King Estate Unity Pinot Gris
-
Tasting Notes
-
The fruit comes half from King Estate and half from Pfeiffer Vineyards. Pale straw in color, the nose is greeted by notes of honey, wildflower, honeysuckle, melon, slate and lemon zest. On the entrance the wine is round and creamy, with flavors of honeydew, lemon, orange blossom, apple and pear on the palate. Pleasing acidity lingers on the finish.

Vineyard Notes
-
The King family and the Pfeiffer family have been through quite a bit together We have grown grapes and made wine with each other for more than 20 years. In that time, much has changed, many challenges have been met, and we have learned to make ever better, more elegant wines that show just how much the relationship has evolved.
