2016 King Estate GSM
Sold Out, Club Only
This delicious GSM exhibits jammy, dark fruit character. From its dark crimson color to aromatics of dried violets, plum, cracked pepper, dark chocolate and coffee, the wine boasts an elegant complexity and a full-bodied mouthfeel.
This Oregon take on GSM comes from a world-renowned Walla Walla vineyard, Seven Hills, and Rogue Valley's Crater View Vineyard. Varietals include Grenache (41%), Syrah (39%) and Mourvèdre (20%). Wines made from these classic grape varietals found in France's Southern Rhone region, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvédre, are often referred to as a "GSM."
Cold soaked, punched down, pumped over and fermented in stainless steel open top tanks. Aged 12 months in 26% new French oak.
