2013 King Estate Roserock Pinot Noir
-
Tasting Notes
-
The Goodrich Road Vineyard yields a wine with a fantastic balance of richness and intricacies. A beautiful deep garnet in the glass, the nose is replete with the aromas of dark fruit such as black cherry, cranberry and plum, along with the rich notes of mocha, black truffle, cigar box and clove. Luscious fruit with a hint of spice and earth develop on the palate, while layers of complexity and texture create a well-developed finish.

Vineyard Notes
-
Each vintage, we harvest and evaluate fruit from the best Pinot Noir vineyards in the Willamette Valley – vineyards like Goodrich Road, planted with 21 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the heart of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The vineyard is planted to classic Pinot Noir clones; this single vineyard wine is a blend of 667 and 828. The grapes from Goodrich Road yield a deep, rich character worthy of a King Estate Vineyard Designate bottling.

Winemaker Notes
